建议在所在地居委会的领导下实行小区业主自治，对于经济困难家庭，让他们为小区做打扫卫生之类的工作，工钱用来抵消物业费。看门治安之类的工作也可以由本小区的业主担当或业主们轮值。这样可以省去不必要的物业管理人员，节省开支，减轻业主们的物业费用负担。
不交物业费是一错；民法典草案最新修改“物业不得断电停水催缴物业费”，有的物业服务人员采取断水、断电等方式催收物业费，对业主的基本生活造成严重影响，这是错上加错。全国人大宪法和法律委员会经研究，建议采纳这一意见，在草案合同编物业合同中增加一款规定：物业服务人不得采取停止供电、供水、供热、供燃气等方式催缴物业费。对于不缴物业费的可起诉到法院裁定必交。绝不可停止供电、供水、供热、供燃气等方式催缴物业费。
