font-size: 16px; line-height: inherit; font-family: inherit; vertical-align: baseline;">自东西两晋以后，九江历来是江州治所和商贸中心、水路枢纽，对外交流频繁，受下游南京官话和上游黄冈孝感“楚语”影响明显，而南京话、楚语都属于江淮官话，因而九江官话也属于江淮官话。方言专家颜森先生把九江官话定为江淮官话黄孝片方言，迄今为止语言学界一直沿用这个提法。</span></p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-size: inherit; line-height: 2em; font-family: inherit; vertical-align: inherit; text-indent: 2em;"><br/></p></section><link rel="stylesheet" href="//bbs.jjxw.cn/source/plugin/wcn_editor/public/wcn_editor_fit.css?v134_Z0c" id="wcn_editor_css"/> 你还不如说九江和江西关系不大，和湖北有直接关系 作为“一方水土一方人”的九江人，有着共同的文化渊源、共同的生活习惯、共同的奋斗目标、共同的语言。其中，作为思想交流工具，语言显得更为频繁和重要。九江话是个宽泛的概念，它涵盖了湖口以西，庐山、德安以北，瑞昌以东的长江南岸地区。据明朝嘉靖《九江府志》载：九江“文仪言语类金陵而近实。”此谓九江话与南京话相近。《书·禹贡》载：“九江，荆扬二州之境地。”古时，秦分天下为三十六郡，九江郡覆盖了鄂、赣、皖等长江中下游区域，几达金陵。以长江为交通要道的“下江人 致治经济文化交流频繁，从而衍生了具有共同特点的“下江官话”（江淮官活)。故现代语言学家把九江以东、镇江以西的长江流域划为北方方言区。
